IFC's health team has launched a webinar series focused on the private health care sector in emerging markets. As one of the largest investors in the private health in emerging markets—our active portfolio of $2 billion is spread across all regions—IFC has developed this series to examine the latest trends, innovations, and considerations in the health sector for investors, operators, and governments. Topics will include hospital services, digital health, improvements in quality of care, public-private collaborations, medical equipment, and life sciences. This series is part of our build up to the next IFC Global Private Health Conference, currently planned for fall 2021. The biannual conference, now in its 19th year, is the premier global event for people and companies that are operating, investing or interested in the private health sector in emerging markets.
